Reader Gallery: Final Fluke Of The Fall

Some of the best fluke fishing in years took place along the South Shore and East End of Long Island during the month of September and continuing into the first couple of weeks of October. The best part is, the majority of the fish were big! We’re talking weekly catches of 10-pounders with 5 and 6-pounders coming up for anglers on most trips. Hopefully most of you were able to fill your freezers with plenty of these fish before the season came to a close on October 15th. Here are some of the final fluke catches of the season.
