We’re a few weeks off the Labor Day holiday weekend, but it doesn’t mean that summer is officially over. In fact, if the late August variety is any indication, it’s only going to get better in September when it comes to chasing down solid fishing options.
Just keep in mind that summer flounder (fluke) season officially ends after September 27 at the Jersey Shore, while black sea bass reopens with a 10-fish bag and 12-1/2-inch size limit on October 1.
