What began as a simple gear swap among friends has evolved into the Northeast’s premier angling event. The Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association (RISAA) is proud to announce the 22nd Annual New England Saltwater Fishing Show, taking place March 6–8, 2026, at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Powered by a dedicated volunteer force of RISAA members, the show has grown to become the largest saltwater fishing event in the region. This year, the show floor will feature over 350 booths representing 200+ manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, offering the finest tackle, custom lures, apparel, and marine electronics available today.
More Than Just a Trade Show:
Beyond the gear, the 2026 show serves as a comprehensive hub for the saltwater lifestyle…
The Fleet: Explore a massive selection of boats, marine services, and boating accessories.
Expert Education: A packed seminar schedule featuring well-known anglers and local legends designed to help every angler—from novice to pro—improve their catch. Some of those big names include; Kayak specialist Dustin Stevens, hardcore surfcaster Paul Chapman, Cape Cod Canal guru East End Eddie Doherty and Boston area striped bass expert Capt. Brian Coombs.
Community & Conservation: Meet with representatives from environmental enforcement agencies, fish and wildlife departments, and leading conservation groups to brush up on local regulations and conservation efforts.
Fishing for a Cause
The show is the primary fundraiser for RISAA, a non-profit representing over 7,500 recreational anglers. Founded in 1997 by Steve Medeiros, the association remains committed to its founding mission: preserving and protecting the rights, traditions, and future of recreational fishing.
“Our growth reflects our commitment to youth, our community, and sound marine conservation,” said club president Scott Travers. “From funding college scholarships for marine science students to hosting our annual 3-day Youth Fishing Camp in June, the proceeds from this show go directly back into the waters and the community we love.”
