Set your DVR as Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky kicks off Discovery Channel’s block of fishing shows on Sunday mornings at 5 a.m. throughout the month of February!
“Saltwater Underground is a bit different than the usual dramatized or scripted fishing show,” said Honachefsky, adding “Characters in the fishing world, especially in New Jersey, are interesting and loose enough to tell an engaging real story. I think the real appeal for viewers is that we let the camera roll and see what happens in the prolific and booming fisheries of the Northeast grounds.”
Honachefsky said the 2024 Season of Saltwater Underground is set to rock the docks with special guest underground stars such as WWE Hall of Famer Jake the Snake Roberts, Man Vs. Food host Casey Webb, rock star Dean Ween, and strongman influencer Mike Counihan. Episodes you’ll find this month on the Discovery Channel include explosive yellowfin tuna action, spectacular surf stripers, and fantastic fluke fishing, with plenty more on tap.
