The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh (FSOS) at the Jersey Shore bring back their popular Belmar-based fluke tournament for a 14th year on Saturday, August 14.
Paying out $10,000 in prizes based on a minimum of 175 boats, the FSOS fluke tournament boasts three weigh stations including Kelly’s Landing Marina in Long Branch, Belmar Marina at Shark River, and Hoffman’s Marina along the Manasquan.
Proceeds of FSOS tournament will be donated to The Shillelagh Building Fund with food and beverage served after the weigh in. The captains meeting is August 13 at the FSOS headquarters at 815 16th Avenue in Belmar. For details email fsosfluke@gmail.com.
