Last month, Shimano North America Fishing announced that longtime president Dave Pfeiffer will step down from his role on March 31, concluding an extraordinary 38-year career with the company. Pfeiffer will remain involved with Shimano North America Fishing, Inc., transitioning into a new role as Vice Chairman, Executive Advisor, and lead for industry advocacy. “Working for my entire career with Shimano has been the greatest honor,” said Pfeiffer. “I will cherish the people I have worked with and my colleagues throughout the industry. My sincere thanks to everyone who has supported and guided me over all these years.”
Jason Livermore, currently Senior Vice President, Inc. will assume the role of President on April 1. Livermore brings more than 24 years of experience in the outdoor, and sporting goods industries including expertise in go-to-market strategy, forecasting and demand planning, cross-functional collaboration, and business integrations. His career is marked by a consistent record of strategic growth, strong customer partnerships, and empowering leadership.
