Shimano North America Fishing, Inc. announced that longtime president Dave Pfeiffer will step down from his role on March 31, 2026, marking the conclusion of a distinguished 38-year career with the company. Pfeiffer has been a central figure in Shimano’s growth in North America, contributing across sales, marketing, product planning, strategic development, and executive leadership. Since 2017, he has served as president, helping steer the company through continued innovation and industry change.
Pfeiffer will remain with the organization in a new role as Vice Chairman, Executive Advisor, and lead for industry advocacy, continuing to support both Shimano and the broader fishing community. Effective April 1, 2026, current Senior Vice President Jason Livermore will assume the role of President. Livermore brings more than two decades of experience in the outdoor and sporting goods industries and is expected to guide a smooth leadership transition while maintaining Shimano’s focus on product excellence, dealer support, and long-term industry stewardship.
