If you love Narragansett Bay, its views, its history, its amazing fishing or if it provides a living for you or a family member, you can help shape the next decade of planning for a healthier Narragansett Bay region by participating in a quick online survey. Every 10 years the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program (NBEP), a conservation-minded non-profit, brings folks together from Massachusetts, Connecticut and, of course, Rhode Island to collaborate on a new 10-year plan for the region.
If Narragansett Bay plays any kind of a role in your life, set aside a few minutes to complete the survey, the data from this survey will be used to steer the development of the NBEP’s next 10-year plan, entitled Vision 2032. Input is needed from the 113 cities and towns that are all linked by their connection to the bay and its tributaries. Your voice can help secure funding and support for the concerns of the citizens that are directly linked to the Bay and its resources. Beyond that, your input is completely anonymous.
Vision 2032 is a growing partnership between concerned members of the communities of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut that is working toward a communal vision for water, wildlife, and habitat along with the quality of life in and around the Narragansett Bay region over the next 10 years.
