This week’s photo gallery features some of the kids from The Angler Fleet’s Kids Summer Fishing Camp out of Port Washington. It’s a fun and exciting hands-on approach to fishing. Their well-established camp has been teaching kids to fish since 2011. They offer a weekly program for girls and boys ages eight and older. Each child is instructed and guided according to their ability from first-timers to children that have fished before. The young anglers vary these photos age from 7 to 15. They have mostly been target fluke, porgies, sea robins and the occasional supervised bluefish when they see them blitzing in the Long Island Sound.
