The Ward Melville High School Fishing Expo returns for its 13th year on March 7 and 8, bringing one of Long Island’s largest and most popular fishing events back to Ward Melville High School. What began as a small school fundraiser has grown into a premier regional show, drawing anglers from across Long Island and the tri-state area.
The two-day Expo will feature more than 200 vendors and 300 tables, offering everything from saltwater and freshwater tackle to custom rods, lures, rigs, apparel, conservation groups, fishing clubs, and flea-market-style gear. Two auditoriums will run seminars throughout the weekend, with top captains and local experts covering surf, inshore, freshwater, and offshore techniques to help anglers gear up for the 2026 season.
A signature highlight is the massive raffle, with proceeds supporting the Ward Melville High School Fishing Club’s education, outreach, and on-the-water programs. Sunday also spotlights youth anglers, with a Youth Tackle Giveaway for kids ages 5 to 18, where the first 150 participants completing a scavenger hunt receive free tackle.
Admission is FREE both days. Show hours are 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday, with food trucks on site. For more information, visit www.wardmelvillefishingclub.com/2026expo
