You Can Do AC, But You Can’t Do Suffern

Some hunters and anglers typically find choosing between the World Fishing & Outdoor Expo and the Atlantic City Boat Show scheduled on the same weekend in March to be difficult.  On January 10, 2022, that tough choice became moot when show organizers in Suffern, NY opted to cancel the annual World Fishing & Outdoor Expo due to the ongoing pandemic.

“The decision to cancel is a very difficult one made because of concerns for a much smaller show and strict COVID mandates at Rockland Community College leading to poor attendance,” said Tod Alberto, General Manager for Sportshows which coordinates both the Suffern, NY event as well as the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Edison from March 18-20. “It was made after consulting with a number of exhibitors from different categories,” Alberto said, adding that he fully expects the Saltwater Fishing Expo to be a go.  And so is Atlantic City!

From March 2 to 6, the Atlantic City Boat Show will return to the Atlantic City Convention Center.  Presented by the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the Atlantic City Boat Show will once again feature a full line-up of informative fishing seminars presented by The Fisherman and the Recreational Fishing Alliance.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to Sunday.  Admission is $17 for adults, kids 15 and younger free when accompanied by paid adult.  Look for The Fisherman at either of our two booths at the start of the marine market place (#146) or towards the end near the seminar stage (#826).
