ASMFC 2021 WINTER MEETING WEBINAR AGENDA

Bucktails with pork rind, tube and worm, eel skin plugs; so what about them? With the new circle mandate in place along the Striper Coast for anglers using natural baits, there are still a few public questions left to be specifically answered by fisheries managers. On Wednesday, February 3 from 1:45 to 5 p.m. there may be some additional clarity when the Atlantic Striped Bass Management Board meets virtually to discuss striped bass.

The annual Winter Meeting of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) is scheduled to take place beginning February 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. through February 4, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. Due to concerns over COVID-19, this will once again be held via virtual webinar format. The public may attend virtually as the meeting will be streamed online, sign up in advance online.

Coastal striper anglers and recreational fishing industry reps should pay particular attention to the Wednesday afternoon discussions in the below agenda.
