Worldcat 400DC-X running

Boat Review: Worldcat 400DC-X

The big news from this North Carolina based catamaran builder is not just the debut of their queen of the fleet 400DC-X, but the enhanced fishing potential of her two sisters that are coming soon – the 400CC-X center console and the 400TE-X Tournament Edition center console.

NorthCoast 280CC running4

Boat Review: NorthCoast 280CC

Recently introduced as the sister ship to the 285 Cabin, albeit it is using a deeper-vee 24-degree running bottom, the new NorthCoast 280 CC takes a no nonsense, all-business approach to getting you offshore and back in the rough stuff to play where the big fish call home.

Sailfish 360 Center Console running

Boat Review: Sailfish 360 Center Console

Introduced for the 2019 season as the biggest and baddest Sailfish center console to date, the new 360CC will give anglers and crews a multi-mission platform that is equally adept at the 100-fathom line as she is taking a crowd of family and friends to the beach or a local waterside eatery.

Hobie Kayak Mirage Revolution 11

Take a look at the Hobie Kayak Mirage Revolution 11 fishing kayak. It won Best of Show at the 2011 ICAST Fishing Tackle Show in Las Vegas. It’s shorter, lighter, very maneuverable and sports plenty of storage for rods and gear.

GRADY-WHITE FISHERMAN 216 CENTER CONSOLE

I was able to jump aboard Grady’s new Fisherman 216 down at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. She is the latest iteration of the Fisherman 204, the Adventure 208 and the Fisherman 209 of yesteryear, replacing these venerable center consoles with a fourth generation platform that is bigger, better, more functional and even more seaworthy.

STEIGER CRAFT 23 DV MIAMI

Dream Boat contestants have something to look forward to for this season’s event. This year’s grand prize is the new Steiger Craft 23 DV Miami. Made for fishing, her hull design features a 19-degree aft deadrise running bottom that morphs into a sharper, wave-piercing deep-vee forefoot in the bow. It is sized to fit in between Steiger’s 21 and 255 Miami models, offering a trailerable package that is ready to tame rough coastal waters in your pursuit of inshore and near offshore gamefish.

SAILFISH 242 CC

For 2018, last season’s 240 CC has also undergone a name change to the 242 CC and features a wide nine-foot beam, with either single or twin outboard power options. The Sailfish 242 CC layout is set up to fish with the best of them right out of the showroom.
