The news from Diane over at Dave’s Sporting Goods in Doylestown was fair to good bass fishing in Lake Nockamixon. She said she has not heard a trout fishing report in the last couple of weeks and the combination of high gas prices and low water levels has kept a lot of anglers from fishing.

Over at Dave’s Sporting Goods in Doylestown Dianne told us the only report she got from the lakes were of some largemouth being caught in Nockamixon and some bass and crappie being caught in Lake Towhee. In addition she mentioned that the shad fishing is done for the season and anglers are starting for pick up some smallies in the Delaware on jig combinations and live bait.
