Ebb Tide

From the Ebb Tide they let me know of another sea bass dominate day on the water over the weekend as the prior half day had a very lethargic fluke bite. Shorts seemed to be the only thing hungry other than jumbo sea bass. They were chartered by Fred Smith Plumbing in the afternoon/evening and had a Block Island bottom bonanza. Nonstop action between fluke seabass and scup. They easily had the boat limit of sea bass. The porgy brothers had limits on scup and sea bass and took the biscuit pool. Tony limited on fluke quietly all alone fishing under the boat all day. He also had his sea bass. Marty Dowd was shut out until Lauren showed him how to work a bucktail in the shallow Block Island grounds.

From the Ebb Tide they let me know the eastbound combo was a bounty of everything they wanted. Fluke, sea bass and a few trophy striped bass which were returned unharmed. The sea bass bite was unreal. Easy boat limit of knotheads. The fluke were vying for attention and while they had a good smattering around the boat, Christian Vangordon shined and had his limit and the pool at 6, 5 and 3 pounds. Richey Wright was the bass king nailing 3, the largest at 57 pounds. There were a few personal bests on the boat during the Saturday trip.
