Captain Savio of Fishooker Charters reported excellent striped bass action in front of the Montauk Lighthouse, with fish to 40 pounds falling to jigs. Bluefish remain mixed into the action and continue to provide plenty of rod-bending excitement.

Captain Savio of Fishooker Charters reported excellent bass fishing around Montauk Point, with larger fish falling to diamond jigs and heavier offerings. Bluefish have also started making a better showing alongside the bass schools.
