Hi-Hook Bait and Tackle

Rob at Hi-Hook Bait and Tackle in Huntington reports lots of bass coming from Cold Spring Harbor and inside Huntington Bay. Trolling mojo’s, bucktails, parachutes and umbrella rigs are all producing bass to 40 inches. Rob did hear of a few short fluke being taken inside the bay while porgy fishing has been very quiet.

The fish are responding well to trolling Mojo’s, working plugs and bunker chunks. Not much happening yet on the porgies; however, that fishing should bust wide open within the next week or two,
