Justin Braun of Port Tackle in Port Jefferson reports excellent bass fishing at buoy 11 with anglers trolling mojo’s doing the best. Although porgy fishing has been non-existent for the time being there have been a few keeper fluke coming from Mt. Misery Shoal south of buoy 11. Bucktails tipped with squid and spearing are producing fluke.

Paul of Port Tackle in Port Jefferson reports a slow start to porgy and striped bass fishing since the water is still a bit too cold; however, once water temperatures raise a bit fishing should take off like a rocket. Please note that the shop is fully stocked.
