The crew from Ralphs Fishing Station in Mt. Sinai reports excellent porgy fishing off Cedar Beach, Old Field Point and the Middle Grounds. Worms, clams and porgy jigs are all producing scup along with decent sea bass fishing, particularly at the Middle Grounds. Striped bass fishing has slowed considerably, although there have been some good scores at buoy nine on the night tides on live eels. Fluke remains a pick at the shoals on bucktails and traditional rigs baited with spearing and squid combo. Not many keepers around but the action remains good. The snapper fishing has been good inside the harbor and at the Cedar Beach pier.
