Rip Tide III

Aboard the open boat the Rip Tide III in City Island reports a good day of porgy fishing on Saturday with most fares taking home 8 to 10 big scup while the sharpies put between 14 and 18 scup in the box averaging 2 ½ to 3 pounds. Right now its only scup coming up. The boat is trying to sail every day at 8 am. to 3 p.m. Come on while the rails are light and have a great day on the water.

Aboard the open boat Rip Tide III in City Island we heard from Carl who reported on Saturday they had a very slow morning but found some scup east of Lloyd Neck in the afternoon along with a by catch of out of season fluke, blackfish and a slot size striper. On Sunday, fishing the same area, only a handful of porgies caught. The boat sails daily at 8 a.m.
