Capt. Paul Ripperger and Captain Rachel Jannace Johnson of the Tide Hustle in Greenport will begin sailing May 1st with porgies, weakfish and all the usual Peconic Bay spring treats that make their presence felt during May into June. The 45 foot Tide will be sailing from Brick Cove Marina in Greenport every day weather permitting starting at 7 a.m. and returning back to the dock between 2 to 2:30 p.m. The Tide Hustle is the newest edition of the East End open boat operation that is owned and operated by both Capt. Rachel and her husband Todd Johnson. You can rest assured that with the experience and professionalism of both veteran captains Rachel and Paul, you will be treated to a great day on the water as the crew that works the deck are proficient, knowledgeable and courteous, making sure you have a fun filled day. Open boat trips are limited to 15 anglers with a 100 feet of rail space to roam in. Although walk on is welcome, reservation is strongly suggested to guarantee your spot on the rail.
