GO OFFSHORE AT THE BLUEWATER BASH - The Fisherman

GO OFFSHORE AT THE BLUEWATER BASH

The 2nd Annual Goose Hummock Offshore Bluewater Bash will be held on February 5 – 6, 2016 at the Quincy Marriott, and The Fisherman Magazine will be there for this awesome event.

With the customer base that the Goose Hummock has and the loyal Hook-Up! following, we have no doubt that this event will be even bigger than the inaugural bash last year. It will be two days of intensive hands-on, big game offshore fishing instructions and tactics taught by some of the best captains and crews in the industry. The focus will be on bluefin to the bluewater and canyons. The show promises to deliver an over the top experience like no other and features many names who regularly contribute here at The Fisherman.

There will be a brand-new SEMINAR SERIES this year as the Goose has assembled a TEAM OF INSTRUCTORS with many years of experience fishing the waters of the northeast and beyond. They will teach you the tips and techniques that work to catch the big fish. The waters that surround Cape Cod to the Canyons are teaming with life and possess some of the best fishing opportunities in the world.

Capt. Eric pioneered this two-day seminar series over 8 years ago and it has become a proven format that gives the attendee a two-for-one experience. Friday night will be less structured and will also have Free Beer, more vendor displays, questions and answers with the professional captains and crews and a brand new networking segment where you will get the opportunity to meet other fisherman that commonly fish your waters. One of the keys to catching fish offshore is having accurate fishing reports, and the Goose has always been the ones to facilitate that and this year it’s going to be a big part of the new format. Saturday will be more structured with the heart and soul of the presentations and will start you out with breakfast pastries, coffee and a buffet lunch. You will learn the tips that keep the pros on the fish and in the winners circle. If you have been to the past seminars then this new format will blow you away. There will be more vendors, newer presentations, hands-on ballyhoo rigging, offshore networking and more. More to see; more to do!

Doors open at 3pm on Friday the 5th and 8am Saturday the 6th. There will be more than 30 vendor booths on display throughout the two-day event. Only 500 tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and no tickets will be sold at the door. The price of admission is $150.00 per person, $75 for spouses or girlfriends and children under 14. Reserve your ticket early and save! Call 508-255-0455 or visit Goose Hummock for more details.
