The Connecticut Chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA CT) is pleased to announce it will be a holding a raffle for a Small Game Truth Reel on a Century rod. Retail value for the package is $635!
The raffle prize consists of a 7-foot Century rod from Advanced Fishing USA donated by Hatteras Jack in Rodanthe, North Carolina. It is their Striper Series model SS846 which is a carbon fiber/graphite/Kevlar composite and is rated for 10- to 20-pound line and weights to 3 ounces.
The rod is mated with a Small Game reel from Truth Reels based in Virginia. The Small Game model has a 6:1 gear ratio, ceramic bearings, a carbon drag and up to 25 pounds of drag.
This is an awesome package from anything from big fluke and striped bass to amberjack and grouper. You can stop by Hillyer’s Tackle Shop to see the outfit in person.
All money raised will help advance the work of the CT Chapter of the RFA.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be held on Labor Day, September 5, 2016 and you don’t have to be present to win.
