Here is an unusual catch, a sailfish in the Gulf of Mexico landed just 20 miles off Crystal River, Florida in just 35′ of water. It happened during the Cast and Blast outdoor writer’s event on May 11, 2017 hosted by Raymarine, Okuma, Yo-Zuri, Mustad, Cuda, Savage Gear, Navionics, Maui Jim, Dual, Power Pole and The Plantation on Crystal River.
Captain TJ Shea of 2 Shea Charters found a lone sailfish and put angler Dan Johnson and crew members James McGowan of Raymarine and The Fisherman’s very own Michael Caruso to the test landing this beautiful billfish.
