Anglers can test to see how much more casting distance they achieve when using one of the new Aero Technium XS-C, Ultegra CI4+ XSB or Ultegra XS-C spinning reels, rigged on a new Tiralejo surf rod.

Saturday’s surf event – June 14 – is on Martha’s Vineyard from 10:30am until noon. Leyva will be demo the tackle at on Eastville Beach in Oak Bluffs.

On Father’s Day – Sunday, June 15 – the Surf Crew will be at Bass River Beach (72 S. Shore Drive) in South Yarmouth. Anglers can try out the new Shimano surf system from 5:30pm until 7:30 – Leyva notes that he expects a few stripers to cooperate during the late afternoon bite.
