Once again The Black Hawk party boat of Niantic, CT will be running special night bass trips this season. These trips are based on the tide and the moon, so the schedule varies. Trips are limited to 18 people and reservations are required. These trips fill up quickly so be sure to call the office soon if you’d like a spot on board. If you recall last year these trips accounted for many 40- and 50-pound striped bass – including one that scaled out at an impressive 58 pounds from one of the July trips!
May Night Bass Trips:
Sunday, May 26- leaves at 8:00 pm
Monday, May 27- leaves at 8:30 pm
Wednesday, May 29- leaves at 9:00 pm
Due to popular demand, new spring porgy trips for 2013 have been added. For years people have been asking about spring porgy trips so the Black Hawk has decided to give it a try. Several of these special trips will be scheduled this year and like the night bass trips, they’ll be by reservation only. Limited to 30 people, they will probably fill up fast to contact the office ASAP to reserve your spot!
Special Peconic Bay Spring Blitz – Jumbo Porgy Trip:
May 8th and May 10
7:00 am to 3:30-4:00 pm
Limited to 30 people, reservations only- $72 per person and include rod and reel rental.
