On June 26th the New England Charter Boat Association will be holding their 8th annual Summer Kick-off for kids. Captains get together to give these kids a chance to experience fishing from a boat in open water. Kids from around Boston as well as from the Special Olympics are set to participate.
Over 20 Captains will donate their time, boats, fishing gear and bait. After the boats come in, a barbeque sponsored by the Fishing Academy and the Mayor of Boston will be held at the Boston Shipyard Marina in East Boston where the kids will be awarded prizes.
