It’s 3am and sound of the diesels throttling back abruptly woke the anglers on board. That can only mean one thing, we have arrived. The area was teaming with life and the captain gave the cue to start chumming. Before long, the first tuna of the trip was hooked up.
There are some BIG fish out here so you have to be ready to toss your gear overboard when you get down to the spool.
A steady pick of tuna continued throughout the day and was only interrupted by another great dining experience presented by the chef and crew of the Excel.
