All anglers (adult and youth) are invited to the American Angler Classic Surf Fishing Tournament on November 1 in Seaside Park with over $2,500 in fishing retail prizes!
First place prizes are a Century Surf Machine Surf Rod, a Custom handmade Patriotic Fish measuring board, plus hundreds of dollars of gift cards from Grumpys, Hook House and Betty and Nick’s bait and tackle shops. A set of Costa Del Mar sunglasses will also be awarded for each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. There’s also a $100 gift card from Go Fish Bait and Tackle for the largest legal scored fish by a lady angler, along with a kids category with great prizes from Tsunami.
Those coming from out of the area with their buggies, 4×4 access is available for a one-time $10 fee (however, all 4X4 requests must be in before October 30). Mobile fish judges will also be on the beach on November 1 to allow catch and release.
