Celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend in the Central Jersey surf with the 14th Annual Surf Turkey Tournament from November 26-29. Presented by Charlie’s Bait and Tackle in Normandy Beach, this year’s tournament is catch and release, and the cash prizes are for first and second longest striped bass and a five fish stringer.
The Surf Turkey tournament will kick off at 5 a.m. on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving and runs through Saturday, November 29 at 5 p.m. The fishing boundaries are from the south jetty of the Manasquan Inlet to the north jetty of Barnegat Inlet. Tournament entry fee is $45 with $2,000 grand prize being offered.
