Richard Riccardi of Northport fished Greens Ledge on the CT side of the Long Island sound landed this 20-inch, 7-pound blackfish on a green crab before the ’23 season came to an end.Right before Lake Ontario froze over, Jeremy Semenuk and his father connected with the last open water walleye coming in at 15 pounds! The fish was caught on a Husky Jerk behind planer boards trolled.The pool winner on an early January cod trip aboard the Viking out of Montauk was Thomas Zito from Kings Park, NY with a 10-pounder.This cod was taken on one of the Super Hawk’s long range special trips out of Point Lookout.
