New England anglers will remember the spring of 2026 for a long time. The bass rushed in early and kept the heat on right through the month of June. Perhaps the only downside was the relative lack of schoolies, but the numbers of 20-pound class fish was enough to keep any hardcore striper angler smiling for two solid months. The fall should be an interesting one! If you would like to see your photos featured here, please email them to danderson@thefisherman.com with all the pertinent details including the name of the angler and the general area where the fish was caught.
