As a reminder, the Brigantine Elks Lodge #2428 is holding their annual Fall Striper Classic from November 20-22 to benefit Elks Veterans Programs. Entry fee is $60 per boat (up to four anglers) and $30 for surfcasters. There are also calcuttas available, $25 for boaters and $10 for surfcasters with 100% of the winnings given to the single heaviest fish in each division.
The contest is a total weight of two fish, with tiebreaker the length of fish combined. Payout will be 35% to first place, 10% to second and 5% in third with the remaining 50% going to the Elks Veterans programs. Boundaries are from Barnegat Inlet in the north to Great Egg Inlet to the south with weigh-ins at Riptide Bait and Tackle in Brigantine.
