Captree Power Squadron, a member of The United States Power Squadron will be teaching a U.S. Coast Guard Approved Safe Boating course that is in compliance with the New York State law known as Brianna’s Law. The law states that all power-boaters must take a boating course by 2025. Starting in 2020, all boat operators 26 and under must take a boating course and receive a certificate. All motor-boaters regardless of age must have a certificate by 2025. See spring schedule below:
