The Fisherman’s Surf, Inshore & Offshore Consumer Show Is This Thursday

This is your final reminder—The Fisherman Magazine’s giant Surf, Inshore & Offshore Fishing Tackle and Seminar Show takes place this Thursday, September 17th, at the Huntington Hilton, 598 Broadhollow Rd. in Melville, NY.

Doors open at 4 p.m., an hour earlier than last year, and the show will run through 10 p.m. This year’s event will cover everything from Northeast surfcasting and inshore fishing to offshore tactics, tackle and techniques.

Included with admission is the opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with some of Long Island’s top fishing authorities in our Authority Angler Hallway. Featured anglers include Bill Wetzel, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, John Skinner, Pete Utschig of Phase Gear, Alberto Knie, John Raguso, Mark Malinowski, Billy “The Greek,” River Bay Outfitters and a special table featuring three former Dream Boat Challenge winners.

On the main show floor, anglers can browse more than 100 tables featuring local tackle shops, custom plug makers, fishing organizations, clothing companies and major national manufacturers. Whether you’re looking to stock up for the fall run, talk tackle with the experts or get a first look at products coming for the 2027 season, there will be plenty to see throughout the night.

And be sure to arrive early. The first 600 attendees through the door will receive a tackle-filled goody bag along with a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes during the big raffle later in the evening. The earlier you arrive, the better the selection in your bag. This year’s goody bag sponsors include Yo-Zuri, Mustad Hooks, Berkley Gulp!, Game On Lures, UFSHN Bucktails, Seaguar, Major Craft and Montauk Lures.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 16 and under.

If you’ve been waiting to make your plans, this is the week. Come out Thursday night, meet some of the region’s best anglers, check out the latest tackle, gear up for the fall run and spend an evening surrounded by fellow Northeast fishermen.
