The Fisherman Magazine’s big show will once again be held at the Huntington Hilton this Thursday, September 22. The 2022 show will have a new format which cover surf, inshore and offshore fishing as well as Northeast surfcasting.
The show will also host nine different seminar slots composed of many knowledgeable and interesting individuals throughout the night which will include a Gray FishTag panel that features Cap. Dave Marciano from the hit television show Wicked Tuna. Also assembled are various other seminars that include surf, offshore, light tackle, inshore and fly. Other names on the seminar lineup are Alberto Knie, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, Dave Anderson, Capt. John Raguso, Mark Sedotti and Northeast shark expert Chris Paparo.
On the show floor you will come across over a hundred tables that will feature local shops, plug makers, organizations, groups, clothing companies and national manufacturers. It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while also checking out what’s in the pipeline for 2023 release.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will run through 11 p.m. The first 500 attendees through the door will receive a goody bag filled with tackle, along with a raffle ticket that can win you some great prizes at the big raffle during the night; the earlier you arrive, the more variety you’ll find in your goody bag (see ad in this week’s edition for full line-up of gift items).
