The Playwrights’ Theatre of East Hampton will present The Old Marlin and the Sea, a new play centered on the Hamptons, love, betrayal, big fish and second chances, on Saturday, October 10, at 7:30 p.m. at LTV Studios in Wainscott.
Billed as a true story involving a big fish, a major Hollywood star and the drama of second chances, The Old Marlin and the Sea blends the fishing culture of the East End with a personal story of relationships, change and redemption. The production brings together themes familiar to anyone who knows the Hamptons—from life on the water and the pursuit of memorable fish to the complicated relationships that can unfold along the way.
With the tagline, “Marriage brought him to the East End… Infidelity kicked him out,” the play promises a story that reaches well beyond fishing while keeping the waters of the East End at the center of the action.
The performance will take place at LTV Studios, 75 Industrial Road, Wainscott, NY, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10.
Tickets and additional information are available through LTV Studios at LTVEH.org.
