The first time I drifted for fluke off Isabella Beach, images of the Bahamas came to mind.
Hart Island is one of the larger islands in the Western Sound and is located straight across from the mouth of Manhasset Bay.
I’d be surprised if the “60” in the 60-foot slough isn’t named that way for the amount of 60-pound plus bass that have come out of it over the years. Capt. Don Stein of Fortescue State Marina has fished the Delaware Bayshore waters for decades and notes the 60-Foot Slough as one of the top striper spots in the Delaware Bay.

Located just east of Route 130 in the town of Sandwich, Massachusetts, Peters Pond is arguable one of the most productive year-round trout ponds on Cape Cod.
Located at 39.22’ 17.99” N and 74.24’ 45.85” W these fish holding structures are worth the gamble.
A suburban bass bonanza and more awaits Jersey anglers willing to bear its northern exposure.
