It’s been a weather rollercoaster this week, but the ice has held on just about everywhere – however, it’s probably best to avoid any coastal ponds. While some bites have cooled, others have remained hot and anglers with the drive to ‘adapt to change’ seem to be scoring best. Whether it’s lake trout in Maine, largemouths in Mass, panfish in Rhody or pike in Connecticut, the reports have been mostly positive. We don’t know how much longer this ice season will last, so keep your foot on the gas, and make the most of this long ice season!
