If you want big stripers, several Rhode Island locations are giving up consistent catches. While surfcasters struggle across much of the region, backwater areas and the outer beaches of Cape Cod have been the hot zones for shore-bound striper hunters this week. Fluke fishing continues to improve in Rhody and we’ve also seen the return of monster doormats to the Nantucket Shoals this week. Offshore action continues to ramp up as well, with scores of bluefin charging into the waters “east of Chatham” and massive amounts of bait piling in “south of Block,” we’ll get you on the numbers, so you can catch more fish!
