
Big stripers are biting this week from eastern Long Island Sound, to Newport Rhode Island, to Block Island, the Canal and beyond. We’re also seeing better and better midshore tuna action, day by day. Fluking is also showing another surge, as the inlets along the Nantucket Sound and Rhode Island Sound beaches draw in more and more flatfish. For the second week in a row, western Buzzards Bay has been the hot zone for keeper sea bass. And the weather looks pretty good for offshore trips on Saturday, too
