If the bluefin action last week was good, then it’s been phenomenal this week. Numerous reports have come in with stories of 5 to 15 fish landed in a trip and we’ve heard a few reports that went north of 20 landings in a single offshore run; these reports are coming from the general ‘South of Block’ arena. Striped bass action is looking very good from Boston north to Downeast Maine, with another slug of fish holding steady on the eastern half of the Rhode Island coast—just beware of the brown sharks! Looks like a windy weekend awaits, so pick your spots and take lots of photos. Good luck out there!
