Largemouth bass fishing has really exploded this week, especially from Cape Cod to coastal Connecticut. The fish are biting well on jigs by day and big swimbaits after dark. As these fish continue to bulk up in preparation for the spawn, this bite will only intensify. Trout fishing is bursting across the region as well, except in Rhode Island where anglers have to wait until April 9 to cast a line for trout.
