Weakfish catches are on the rise in Rhode Island, and especially, central and western Connecticut. A bumper crop of tiderunners has graced us with its presence again this year! The Cape Cod Canal had a banner week with numbers of 30-plus pound stripers caught and released over the weekend. Large striped bass are being caught all over our coverage area, if you’re a striper fisherman, we’re in the midst of some of the best fishing of the entire season, don’t miss out!
