Rhode Island is the center of on the angling universe this week, at least as far as New England is concerned. The State stocked Sebago salmon in seven ponds for Veteran’s Day and they continue to bite well for anglers throwing lures. We also heard reports, for the second week in a row, about bluefin tuna south of the windmills and the numbers of trophy tog landed this week is mind-blowing. Outside of the ‘littlest’ state in the union, there has been great striper action, including a true trophy from Mass waters and there are still albies in Long Island Sound. Overall, the fishing could be considered exceptional for mid-November, don’t let it get away.
