What a fall season it has been for blackfish! With warmer waters and beautiful weather, it seems like everyone is getting in on the action! This week saw another round of heavyweights, capped off by a 16.05-pound Dream Boat dinosaur weighed in at J&B Tackle, caught by Cody Gernhard. This burgeoning big fish bite comes just in time for the Mighty Tog Championship being put on by J&B Tackle and Boats Inc. The striper bite is beginning to show some signs of winding down in some areas, but with good bites still taking place in many locations, there are still plenty of reasons for bass guys to keep their feet on the gas. Freshwater action is ramping up as well with great bass fishing and the trout action has been off the hook.
