Can someone turn the fans off?! This constant barrage of strong fronts is really making it tough for the average angler to squeeze in some November fishing! Many have switched their focus to freshwater, which has been giving up good catches of smallmouth and largemouth bass, along with lots of stocked trout. Those who have remained focused on the salt, have found some blitz action for stripers ahead of these powerful fronts and the tog action has been red hot on the rare calm days in between. The most successful anglers are adapting to the conditions and switching between species and between salt and fresh. If we can cobble together a few days of stable weather, something memorable just might pop up, keep your eyes on the forecast and your lines in the water.
