Blackfishing Remains Red Hot in MA, RI & CT!

The Vineyard Derby came to a close over the weekend, upholding another year of New England fishing traditions. But, even though the Derby has ended, the fishing is still very good around the island, particularly for false albacore. Togging has been phenomenal across a broad area: from central Buzzards Bay, throughout all of coastal Rhode Island and into Long Island Sound, stretching at least as far as the Clinton Breakwalls. Striper fishing has been inconsistent, but those fishing backwater areas seem to be finding more regular success.
