There are still striped bass as far north as Salem New Hampshire this week with large stripers being landed on Cape Cod and in western Long Island Sound. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to go togging, let this be the starting gun; we’re hearing about stellar togging from the Cape Cod Canal to the Connecticut River, with the biggest fish coming from Rhode Island. Albies are still in play but they’re fading fast and freshwater fishing is heating up across the region. Get out there and fish!
