With the exception of Nantucket Sound and western Long Island Sound, the 2024 albie season has left a lot to be desired. For those of you who are still desperate to scratch that albie itch, the advice is clear, “head west, young man (or woman).” This is, by no means, an endorsement of guaranteed success, but it is your best shot at hooking up. Tuna action continues to improve south of Montauk and Block. Fall run striper bites continue to fire up across the region as well.
